Shougang Jingtang Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd
Shougang Jingtang is a joint EPC project conducted by BSIET and Outotec. It is the largest oxidized pellet production line in China. The pelletizing plant is part of Shougang's plan to relocate its operations from Beijing to Caofeidan.
The concept of this plant comprised crucial features such as adjacent location to the sea, closeness to the port, a reasonable layout, large scale equipment as well as domestic and international evaluation – all factors led to the creation of an advanced iron and steel enterprise. The phase 1 project was completed in August 2010. Since the project was started, it has been the exemplary pelletizing project in China.
The EPC implemented strict quality control over equipment's performance in this project. All equipment utilized in this project were procured from top equipment manufacturers from the iron ore pelletizing industry all over the world.
