Below is a Brief Description of your Program;

Term One:

(6) weeks - Full time instruction (9:00AM - 3:45PM, Monday through Friday)
  • English level testing component.
  • Write a clear and concise resume for yourself.
  • Interviews - impress your potential employer.
  • Using classified advertisements.
  • Finding accommodation that is right for you.
  • Shared accommodation.
  • Job sources, where and how to look.
  • Volunteering - the legalities, and obligations.
  • Red Tape - Your S.I.Number, taxes, pay cheques, bills, medical insurance.
  • Culture of the workplace
  • Safety
  • Socializing
  • Assertiveness training.
  • Canadian geography.
  • All about the "Hot" employers.
  • Certificate of Recognition.

 

Price for above (6) week program

  1. Six Week Program: $1971 Cad.
  2. Six weeks Homestay accommodation: $1150 Cad.
  3. The above pricing includes
    • Airport or Bus Depot arrival greeting with CVIC official and Host family.
    • Course registration fee.
    • Homestay registration fee.
    • Materials fees.
    • Homestay includes all meals, private room, and all family privileges.

Term Two:

(4) weeks - Optional Volunteer Component
  • Supervised volunteer program.
  • Certificate of Recognition
  • Letter of Reference from Volunteer Placement or Employer
  • Volunteer Placement or Employers evaluation report.

Price for optional (4) week volunteer program

  1. Optional four week working holiday volunteer component: $400 Cad.
    • Note: The full (6) week program (Term 1)is prerequisite for this optional volunteer component.
  2. Homestay accommodation: $650 per four weeks.
