  • My interest was to study Business English in Canada because I will be traveling to English speaking countries to do business for my company. I learned much from my instructor at CVIC and am more confident now.
Courtenay is a nice city and I was surprised that so many people, even the older ones felt safe on the streets at night. I experienced the Canadian Culture in many ways through activities at school and took many interesting trips.
Many German people holiday on Vancouver Island so I knew about Strathcona Park and I was not disappointed, it was beautiful.
CVIC is a good solid school and I would come back again if I have the chance ................. Mr. Kehler (Germany)

  • My time at CVIC has been a very happy one. The school is placed in a heritage building in downtown Courtenay. You can learn useful English in the lessons using the interesting articles from everyday life.

  • You will improve your English skills through volunteer program which is one of the activities outside of school. I would like to become an interpreter, so my volunteer job is working at the Cumberland Museum translating very old Japanese documents. Cumberland was originally a very large Japanese settlement and there is much history to be found.

Time goes very fast in the day because of interesting lessons which is different from lessons at desk .............. Naomi (Japan)

  • I have only been here short time, but already I learn lots. We have many trips outside of school and my happiness was in seeing in the parks and the house areas the many deer, eagles and swans. Near the ocean , it was amazing all of the seals and whales.
Our instructor makes the days happy and useful for us. We see and do many things and English seems easier when there is laughter and friends.

Thank you CVIC ................ Tammara (Russia)

  • ¡Hola!

Vladimir (Mexico)
